Ashes on Wool is the creative collective created by Jude Howell. Jude, also known as Harebear is a passionate artist currently residing in Chicago. For him Street Photography is the epitome of photography, the ability to capture life as it happens with out artificial poses or planned actions. Jude specializes in inclement weather constantly immersing himself in the heart of the storm to capture what others would have missed. Utilizing his skills as a street photographer Jude has been selected on many occasions to photograph for the U.S. Army Reserve, deploying for several missions some of which in hostile terrain and designated combat zones.
Jude is a very special individual, living with ADHD as well as being an High Functioning adult. For Jude, his imagination and hunger for perfection can be cumbersome constantly switching between projects and brooding over the inability to craft perfect work. From this Ashes on Wool was born, a way for him to present his many projects; granting structure and the ability for him to showcase his versatility and hunger to provide the very best content he can muster.
